Principal Research Nurse and BEST4 Clinic Coordinator Irene Debiram-Beecham, Clinical PhD Fellow Keith Tan and our director, Rebecca Fitzgerald met with patient representatives to spread information about Heartburn Cancer to members of the public and to raise money for this important cause.
HCUK aims to raise awareness of the dangers of persistent heartburn. This is because persistent heartburn, or oesophageal reflux, may be a sign of more serious health issues, and earlier diagnosis of a more serious problem helps to save lives.
