The Early Detection of Cancer Conference 2023

The 2023 Early Detection of Cancer Conference takes place in London from 10-12 October. The conference will feature engaging discussions, lightning talks from submitted abstracts and opportunities to network with experts from across the globe. There will also be the return of the ‘Great Debates’ as speakers go head-to-head to debate provocative early detection challenges.

2023 conference topic list includes:

  • Inequalities in cancer detection and diagnosis
  • Risk stratification to inform early detection
  • Understanding pre-cancers to enable early detection
  • Multicancer early detection – beyond ctDNA

Abstract Submissions:

The deadline for submitting an abstract is 17 July. 

You can submit your abstract without being registered. The presenting author must be registered at the time of the conference to present their work.

Eight lightning talks will be chosen from the submitted abstracts and all approved abstracts will be offered a poster position automatically. Anyone is welcome to submit an abstract.

Character limit: There is a limit of 2500 characters for the text of your submission including blank spaces and punctuation.

Cancer Research UK, Canary Center at Stanford, and OHSU Knight Cancer Institute present the Early Detection of Cancer Conference series. The annual conference brings together experts in early detection from multiple disciplines to share groundbreaking research and progress in the field.
