Running from 18 - 20 October, this year’s conference is jam-packed with engaging discussions, lightning talks from submitted abstracts and opportunities to network with experts from across the globe. There will also be the return of the 'Great Debates' as speakers go head-to-head to debate provocative early detection challenges.

The conference is in-person only and is hosted by The Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, Oregon, USA.

Lightning Talks and Poster Abstract Deadlines

The deadline to submit an abstract for a lightning talk is 19 August 2022.
The deadline to submit an abstract for a poster is 2 September 2022.

When you register to attend the conference as a trainee, will you receive a discounted rate and you can sign up to attend the trainee/early career networking dinner on Monday 17 October. This event will take place the evening before the conference kicks off. The networking dinner is included in your registration.

OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, Canary Center at Stanford, and Cancer Research UK present the Early Detection of Cancer Conference series. The annual conference brings together experts in early detection from multiple disciplines to share groundbreaking research and progress in the field.

The Conference is part of a long-term commitment to invest in early detection research, to understand the biology behind early-stage cancers, find new detection and screening methods, and enhance uptake and accuracy of screening.
