Call for abstracts 2025

The Early Cancer Institute annual symposium will take place on Thursday 9th October 2025. We invite PhD students, postdocs, junior group leaders and other researchers involved in all aspects of early cancer research to submit abstracts to be considered for a poster presentation and/or a lightning talk at the event. The short talks arising from these abstracts are always a highlight of our Symposium Programme so please do get involved.

Each lightning talk will be 7 minutes in duration followed by a 3-minute Q&A and will form part of the main symposium programme on 9th October. All approved abstracts will be offered a poster position automatically.

Abstract authors selected to give a talk will also be invited to attend the Symposium speaker dinner on the evening of 9th October and the best oral presentation will receive a prize of £500 towards future conference travel or registration.
